Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Lakewood Park Campground and its facilities. By making a reservation, visiting the property, or using campground facilities, you agree to these terms.
Unforeseen Events
Guests acknowledge that Lakewood Park Campground, LLC, its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be responsible for delays, interruptions, cancellations, losses, or damages resulting from circumstances beyond the campground’s reasonable control.
These circumstances may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, natural disasters, falling trees or limbs, fire, power outages, utility interruptions, strikes, civil disturbances, transportation delays, government actions or regulations, or the inability to obtain necessary goods or services.
Such events do not relieve a guest of payment obligations already incurred unless otherwise determined by Lakewood Park Campground.
For the safety of guests and staff, Lakewood Park Campground reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate activities when hazardous conditions occur. This may include requiring guests to seek shelter, restricting outdoor activities, suspending alcohol service, adjusting or terminating entertainment, or requiring evacuation of all or part of the property.
If conditions require evacuation of the campground, guests must comply with all instructions issued by campground management or emergency authorities.
Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
Guests acknowledge that camping and outdoor recreational activities involve inherent risks, including risks associated with weather, terrain, trees, wildlife, roads, docks, bodies of water, recreational facilities, vehicles, and the actions of other guests.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lakewood Park Campground, LLC, its owners, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for injury, loss of life, theft, loss of property, or damage to personal property arising from a guest’s use of the campground or its facilities, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings and for the conduct of members of their party and visitors.
Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, guests agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lakewood Park Campground, LLC, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from the guest’s actions, negligence, misconduct, violation of campground rules, or use of the campground and its facilities.
Guests are also responsible for claims or damages caused by members of their party, visitors, invitees, contractors, or other persons for whom they are responsible.
If Lakewood Park Campground is required to take legal action to enforce these Terms or collect amounts properly owed, the guest may be responsible for reasonable attorneys’ fees, court costs, collection expenses, and other costs to the extent permitted by law.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Any legal action arising from or relating to these Terms, a reservation, or a guest’s use of Lakewood Park Campground shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
