Rules and Policies

Pets are welcome throughout the campground and at RV sites. A nominal pet fee applies.
Pets must always be on a leash and accompanied by their owner when outdoors.
Pets are not permitted inside buildings or cabins. Exceptions may be available for some pets in cabins if they remain in a kennel while indoors. An additional sanitation fee applies. Please request approval in advance.
Pets may be tied outside only when attended and should never be left unattended.
Guests must clean up after their pets.

Each site is limited to one RV and one vehicle. If space allows, an additional vehicle may be parked within the boundaries of your site.
Vehicles must display a valid parking pass.
Vehicles may only be parked in designated areas. Washing vehicles or RVs is not permitted.
Posted speed limits must be followed at all times. Where no speed limit is posted, the maximum speed is 10 MPH.
Please do not walk through occupied campsites.
Disposal of gray or black water onto the ground is prohibited.
Clotheslines are permitted. If attaching a line to a tree, it must be tied around the trunk and may not be nailed, screwed, or otherwise fastened into the tree.
Trash must be placed promptly in designated dumpsters. Do not leave trash bags outside where wildlife can access them.
Hunting is prohibited on the property.
Use or possession of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited.
Fireworks that are legal in Pennsylvania are permitted on a limited basis during non-quiet hours. Firecrackers are prohibited.

Our regular season runs from mid-April through the end of October.
Some sites may be available during the winter months for transient stays. Please check online availability or call us for details.
Water restrictions may apply during periods of freezing temperatures.
Seasonal sites are currently unavailable.

Campfires are permitted only in approved fire rings at designated locations.
Fires must never be left unattended and must be fully extinguished before leaving the area.
Firewood is available for purchase for $6 per bundle.
Fallen limbs and branches may be gathered and used as firewood. Cutting limbs, branches, or trees is prohibited.

All visitors must check in and pay the applicable visitor fee of $5 per person, per day.
Visitors must be accompanied by registered guests at all times.
Visitors must leave the campground by 10:00 PM unless they are registered as overnight guests.

Lakewood Park Guest Wi-Fi is provided for basic email and web browsing.
The network is not intended for excessive downloading or streaming.
Guests must review and agree to the Wi-Fi terms and conditions when accessing the network.

Golf carts are permitted but must be insured.
Golf carts and UTVs may not be operated by children under age 14, except children age 13 when accompanied by an adult.
Children under age 12 must wear helmets when operating or riding as a passenger on a bicycle, in accordance with Pennsylvania law.
Bikes, golf carts, and UTVs may be operated at night only if equipped with functioning headlights and taillights.
ATVs and dirt bikes are prohibited.
Children under age 13 are not permitted in the bar after 9:30 PM.
Children age 7 and under must be supervised at all times in the store, arcade, and throughout the campground.

Please check with campground staff regarding swimming in designated areas of the lake.
Lakewood Park Campground does not currently have a swimming pool.
Catch-and-release fishing is permitted. No fishing license is required. Barbless hooks only. Fishing is permitted until 10:00 PM.
Permitted boats include aluminum fishing boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats. Guests may bring their own.
Inflatable tubes are permitted.
Waivers are required to use Lakewood Park kayaks, paddle boats, or other rental items.
Waivers and boat sign-outs are available at the camp office or through the Lakewood Park app.
